About Us
The Alberta Debate and Speech Association (ADSA) is a nonprofit, charitable organization. It was founded by a group of educators who believed in providing quality education to all Alberta students. Today, ADSA proudly serves over 50 member schools and is governed by a volunteer board consisting of teachers who work with the students in the classroom.

We promote speech and debate activities in English and French in the areas of: Language Arts, Drama, Social Studies, and Science throughout the Province.
ADSA is committed to the development of youth in the areas of Critical Thinking, Research, Analytical Thought, Public Speaking, Teamwork, Leadership and Creativity.

Volunteer with ADSA

Every year, the Alberta Debate and Speech Association hosts approximately 61 events, including: debate tournaments, Model Legislature, Law Day Mock Trials, speech competitions and much more. These educational and fun events would not be possible without the help of our volunteers!

Volunteering is a great way for alumni and parents to support a great cause while remaining involved with debate and speech!

If you would like to donate your time and talent as a volunteer, please contact Daria at 403-479-6700 or via email.
